Michele Lawlis Shelton, CDP, CPC is an international speaker, minister, author, and leadership coach. Michele's career in pursuit of justice and equality spans 25 years and includes considerable impact as a leader in government, business, nonprofit, and faith-based organizations, despite stages where she has personally seen, suffered, and survived poor leadership, toxic work cultures, and both the personal and professional consequences of same. Michele’s hands-on experience leading federally funded workforce development programs, enforcing EEO Compliance across multiple industries, providing oversight to the development of hundreds of custom training programs, diversity and inclusion programs for over 33,000+ state employees, and designing C-suite immersions to promote ongoing personal and professional development, inform her thought leadership and approaches when keynoting conferences, coaching and consulting, and facilitating personal or organizational transformations. Serving previously on both sides of the aisle as enforcer and employer makes her a uniquely informed, value-added, trusted advisor who remains unapologetically committed to empowering others to join her in conquering the -ism's that undermine our humanity and the bottom line at work and beyond...

She is co-author of three international anthologies and is currently working on her fourth and solo title, The Power 2B Authentically Me: Leadership Lessons from the Front Lines of DEI.
